Procurement and Local Supplier Support in Uzbekistan — for Foreign Companies
We represent foreign companies buying goods from, and working with, manufacturers and suppliers in Uzbekistan — from finding and vetting a supplier to coordinating payment and shipment. Your local agent in Tashkent for inbound deals.
Who this service is for
A B2B service for foreign companies that need someone on the ground in Uzbekistan to buy goods or work with local manufacturers.
- Companies sourcing textiles, knitwear or finished garments from Uzbek manufacturers
- Importers of dried fruit, nuts and other agricultural produce
- Buyers who need a factory or warehouse inspected before paying
- Companies already working with a supplier who want independent local oversight
- Anyone hitting a language barrier negotiating with Uzbek suppliers
What the service covers
Support on the buyer's side, from sourcing through to shipment:
- Finding and pre-vetting suppliers or manufacturers
- A factory or warehouse visit, with photographs and a report on the real state of things
- On-the-ground negotiation — in Uzbek, Russian or English
- Checking a sample or batch against the stated specification
- Coordinating payment through banking channels
- Checking packing, labelling and the shipment's readiness
- Coordinating with a freight forwarder at the start of the logistics chain
- A written report at each stage of the deal
Why you need someone on the ground
Buying from an unfamiliar supplier at a distance means taking their word for it. A factory visit in person, checking the batch before payment, and negotiating locally remove most of the risk that would otherwise simply have to be accepted.
- See the real state of the factory and the goods, not just photos in an email
- Remove the language barrier in supplier negotiations
- Check the batch before payment, not after
- Get an independent report, not the supplier's own account
- Save the time and cost of a trip of your own

Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of goods do you work with?
Most often textiles and knitwear, dried fruit and nuts, ceramics and craft goods, and construction materials. If your category is different, tell us what you need and we'll say honestly whether we can help.
Do you negotiate price on our behalf?
We can represent you in negotiations and push for terms on the ground, but the final call on price and deal terms stays with you — we report back, we don't sign on your behalf.
Do you handle customs clearance?
No. We coordinate with a freight forwarder and customs broker who handle the formalities, and make sure the shipment is ready to hand over to them without delays on your side.
Can you check a supplier we already work with?
Yes — an independent check of an existing supplier (a production visit, batch verification) is available as a separate, one-off service, even if you're not planning to switch suppliers.
